About this piece:
One of my absolute favorite things about summer is getting out for some afternoon kayaking or a weekend of camping at Baker Lake. This painting was created from a photo taken in June 2021 on one of my first ventures out onto the lake after getting my first kayak. There’s nothing like that bright turquoise water set against the backdrop of gorgeous Mount Baker.
