About this piece:
There’s a state park a couple of hours away that is my absolute favorite. I spend as much time there as possible in the same spot, watching the sunrise over these hills every morning. I swim in the springs nearby, go on all the amazing hikes, string up my hammock and read into the night. It’s the place where I am happiest and most relaxed.
