About this piece:
I went to Inks Lake in March 2018 with a friend to hike, kayak and camp for a few days. The weather was absolutely gorgeous all 4 days, I got to kayak all over, and I have NEVER seen so many bluebonnets in my life. This scene captures a break in our afternoon of kayaking. We pulled up on this flat, rocky bank that was the base of a hill covered in wildflowers. We hiked up the hill to get a great view from the top and when I made my way back down I captured this shot of my adventure vessel for the day. It was all so beautiful.
